pampho
I’m getting 3x pairs of Halloween Hissers and 4x pairs of Black Tiger Hissers in soon and was wondering if I can keep them in a 54 quart tote (22.50” H x 16.00” W x 12.75” D)? I’m planning to breed them for both feeders and for pets as well so I will have a heat pad attached to the side. I’ll also be using a heated nail to create small holes on the top and I’ll use Vaseline on the sides and surrounding them holes on the lid. But, back to the main point, would keeping these two species be okay? thanks!
birdonfire
I wouldn't house them together if the objective is to breed. Competition will favor the faster, more successful reproducer. Also sorting and separating will get confusing.
Hisserdude
Definitely don't house them together, all bets are off when it comes to hisser hybrids and it's possible the two could hybridize if kept together.
dogpack
So far hybrids as far as I know are frowned unto so I wouldn't take the chance. Congratulations on your new roach friends.
