drasar
I think I'm keeping my dubia tank too moist/humid...I mist it real good every day, good but not real heavy...I opened it today to take out the old fruit and veggies and feed and clean the water dish and noticed an odor...I think I need to dry it out..how dry can I keep them? Huntsman
They can actually tolerate a fairly dry environment, IME, and daily misting is certainly excessive. I suggest water gel and fruit for hydration, though many keepers offer no gel or water, relying on the fruit alone...
drasar
Thanks, I'll back off on the misting..I cleaned the tank and put new dishes in there..have a waterdish too..I heard the young like it a lot more humid..and it helps for molting.. arachyd
They really don't need it humid and don't need misting. Mine molt fine in a dry container. They aren't as fragile as Ts when molting. Their exos are much firmer.
