Most any of the Blaptica/Blaberus/Eublaberus species do not climb glass or plastic.

Some of the less expensive, readily available, and easy to rear species include the discoids, dubia, fusca, fusca/craniifer hybrids, giganteus and the lateralis. All are pretty prolific and the rule of thumb is the smaller the species the faster they breed.

Depending on the species, we keep them in an aspenite bedding or no bedding at all.

Hope this helps.

1) Forget it ... Just buy lobster roaches because they bread quickly and easily ...A adult beardy can eat a good 15 - 20 roaches per meal .... By the way they love roaches...

2) rubbermaid type container w/ 3-4 inches of Bugstop so they dont crawl out..

3) no beding...Use couple egg crates stacked up...
