Allpetroaches
Posted by Sky Stevens on 4/10/2006, 4:35 pm 69.92.16.245 I have a colony of about 45 B fusca. Lately, alot have been dying. Both nymphs and adults. I live in a very dry area, so I added some moist coconut coir to one end of the bin to raise the humidity, but that hasnt helped. They get crushed dry dog food, and a constant supply of water crystals. I also give them fruits and veggies about 4 times a week. Are there any special requirements for this species that I am missing? All of my other Blaberus ssp are kept the same, and are doing fine. Thanks! texasblonde@smitho.com
Chris Driggers
Are you being sure to wash the fruits and veggies really good before offering them to the roaches? The setup sounds pretty good.
