Allpetroaches
Posted by Catharine Gold on 7/17/2006, 12:19 pm 84.66.105.211 We've just started keeping hissing cockroaches (2 weeks ago). One of them 'Jimmy' (!) moulted yesterday but still has a leg stuck in its shed skin. He/she can get around reasonably well but isn't as mobile as before. My question is, is there anything we can do to help it out ? We eased the moulting off a little yesterday evening since the roach hadn't moved for a while, but the leg seems well and truly stuck and we don't want to hurt him. We've only got 5 roaches at the moment (2 big and 3 small) and they belong to my 10-year old son, so each one is precious. duncan@dicks-gold.freeserve.co.uk
