Thank you for your web site. I live in London.Ontario Canada and have a problem identifying this roach insect. The new borns are light beige with white spots about 1/4 inch long approx. When matured, they may grow to 1/2 inch long. They have wings but are not flying at this stage. They enjoy cat food. My living standards are very clean. Sometimes I see them in the day hours. Mostly they like the dark hours and at this time of the year, they are multiplying . I have tried Raid Roach Killer but the problem has increased. I have seen no pictures of this speciman on the internet. If you have any information on this, I would greatly appreciate any forwardings. Thank you!

Don't worry, cockroaches are associated with immaculately clean homes too. There are only two common pest species whose adults are only 1/2 an inch long. Supella longipalpa and Blatella germanica. The nymphs look very different from the adults.

Good luck!
