Simon
Hi I've been caring for my giant litter bugs (Macropanesthia rhinoceros) for over 10 years, starting with an original breeding pair they are now onto the 3rd generation. I was looking at making some improvements to the enclosures as they always knock over small objects like water lids (and even shift large ones) Was thinking about using strong magnets to hold them in place. But noticed there was some information onweb about other roaches being affected by the magnetic fields. Just wanted to know if anyone knew if giant litter bugs are safe with them or not? Thanks
Arthroverts
I imagine that it wouldn't be any more of a problem than the magnetic fields roaches encounter generated by appliances and devices, but I don't know for sure so I can't say anything definite. Sounds like an experiment might be order with just a few specimens first? Thanks, Arthroverts
