blatta70
Hello, this is Mark. It’s been awhile since I’ve been on or posted anything, but I’m back. Quick question: Do any of the old time roach hobbyists remember where the decades-old Panchlora nivea culture stock still in circulation originated from? Florida? Caribbean? South America? Hisserdude
I have a hunch they're either from FL or Cuba, but I'm not sure.
roachgirl
Aren't they sometimes referred to as the Cuban cockroach?

Yeah, but common names mean nothing lol, P.nivea is found in many countries, not just Cuba, so it is uncertain where the original hobby stock comes from.
