Keeping german roaches

Brad

Ootheca
On the same website I found the brown banded roaches I also found german roaches and Australian roaches. I would like to start a colony of the German roaches. Will they breed at 15c to 21c or should I heat their enclosure? I live in an old type farmhouse so it gets cold. What type of humidity do these roaches like? Can I keep them the same as my dubia? I know they lay eggs and bred red runners before.

Dude, as long as you as a human can withstand the temperatures of their enclosure, they will survive. They are strong little things. Even if you don't feed them they will eat literally anything.

I'm late to respond, but I lived in an apartment with these things for years, and eventually they infested my car for about 5 months. Both summer heat and light freezes. It took a good long freeze to finally get rid of them. NEVER AGAIN.

Blatella germanica
Lucihormetica Luckea.
