Anybody know this roach?

Recommended Posts

I was sent this photo for possible identification, it came out of a crate at a business in Australia. It's certainly not an adult, probably one or two molts from maturity and it's probably not a pest species, looks like it may be a native Australian species. Anybody familiar with the genus at least?

OOOOoooo!!! I know I know! !!

It is a Platyzosteria secunda. It is an Aussie native. Australia has some of the very neatest roach species anywhere...

I dream of having an extrensive selection of Australian roaches in culture...

:lol::lol::rolleyes:
