G. oblongata...first adult

Recommended Posts

Good looking guy there! He will provide a strong breed...

Nice reddish coloring.

Some write Oblongata, others Oblongonota. What is actually correct?

Did you take a picture from the side? Just want to compare with my own.

I have seen it written both ways so I guessed...50/50shot.....would like to know the correct way though.

I did indeed take a pic from the side but it didn't turn out so well, I will take another for you when I get home tonight...

Maybe a little more from the side.

A little more of the abdomen.

Is he looking like one of mine ??

Are yours thicker? He looks a little slimmy, or that is the size they are suppossed to be? <_<

Sorry for the darkness of the one pic...couldn't get a clear profile up close with flash...but its still a nice pic IMO. Same roach profile and top. Will these do? I think yours is thicker....but mine is still a young adult...how long until they "fill out"? I have noticed that they(roaches) are quite thin when they first molt and then fill out.
