parthenogenetic non-climber?

Recommended Posts

Hello I was wondering if anyone knows of a parthenogenetic species of roach that won't climb glass? If there's a live bearing species even better... Just had to ask. Already have Surinams coming in the mail, but something easier to contain would be awesome.

I once had a Suriname roach (Pycnoscelus surinamensis) culture that existed exclusively of females.

Oriental roaches can breed without males. I imagine P. femapterus may do so as well.

Can B. orientalis do that indefinately or do they do worse after a few generations like Periplaneta?
