Peter Clausen
We're getting a new bearded dragon in the mail today. Very excited. I'll post photos soon. She's going to be a partner for our large male. The roaches aren't too happy about the new pet, though.

Peter Clausen
A very nice woman on the beardeddragon.org forums named Lauren. Here is our boy's reaction to his future mate (she needs another 12-16 months to mature):

Ralph
Awesome colors. If I ever get a lizard again it'd probably be one of these.
Peter Clausen
We've got a selection of lizards these days and the bearded dragons are our clear favorites. Plus, the warm cages they require make great sources of heat for roaches on the shelves above!
GreenOasis
LOL...True Dat! I've been wondering how to go about setting up the roaches closer to the dragon enclosures so they could pick up some of that ambient heat. Shelves would be the way to go! Thanks for the idea! Peter Clausen
Yeah, Costco has the metal rack shelves for a pretty good price. The heat just goes up and up! Our new bearded dragon, thought she's just a babe, would eat the equivalent of $2 in crickets EVERY day. Helps to have a few good roach cultures!
