Stephen C
Can anyone help with the ID of this pretty roach from Ecuador's Tandayapa Valley? The date was 2 June 2008. Size not recorded, unfortunately. Also, one thing I'm never sure of with these short-winged roaches, is whether this is an adult or an immature. Thanks, & best wishes! Looks like some sort of Blatellid.
Ralph
I'd say Blattellid for sure, maybe subadult. Do you still have it or were you doing photograph-and-release?
Stephen C
I'd say Blattellid for sure, maybe subadult. Do you still have it or were you doing photograph-and-release? I just photographed it on its perch, so no specimen...
Allpet Roaches
I'm thinking it's a nymph which makes identification that much harder.
