Dubia Dynasty Posted August 1, 2014 Share Posted August 1, 2014 I know egg flats are The best! hands down. I was wondering if there is something comparable as far as giving enough space. I am trying newspaper myself, only down side i see is the frass doesn't collect on the bottom of the enclosure. Only a few places offer cheap flats online and I just cant find any local. Like paper towel, toilet paper rolls, drink holders, shredded paper possibly? I'm using whole newspaper balled up, i have the container almost full with newspaper. Just enough room too fit my food/water crystal trays. If it comes down to it i can order 140 flats for around $20-$30 which is a great deal. But newspaper is near free.
