Allpet Roaches
No matter how big the cage or imaginative the decorations healthy colonies eventually face trouble with overcrowding. Certainly the species and its habits determine the level where overcrowding causes serious issues. The problem is you usually can't just let the overcrowding weed out less suitable individuals since the entire group can become so sickly that even when isolated they can't reproduce.
