All About Arthropods
Hi everyone! I just received some very small Egyptian sand roach nymphs( about a couple millimeters long) and wanted to know if I can keep them in a small container that is slightly more than an inch deep? Also do I mix the dead leaves into the substrate or do I put a layer on the bottom of dead leaves and then put some substrate over it? Thanks! Hisserdude
Yeah, that's probably OK. Once they get bigger you would need to move them though. I put my leaves on top of the substrate, if I mix it in the roaches burrowing habits make them rise to the top of the substrate anyway. Roach collector
I keep mine on dry coconut fiber with a layer of dead dried oak leave son the top.
