aprile
Can someone please tell me what kind of roach i have here? I found it in a clean basket full of wet cloth diapers. They had been hanging outside on the line and i brought them in. As i took them from the basket it ran out. I caught it with a papertowel and took a pic of it in a coffee cup. It looks black on the top but lighter brown on the sides and underneath. The wings are only about half the size of his body. I live in Southern WV. im freaking out a bit!! EEK! i thought i would ask the experts!
RosenKrieger
Looks alot like a female Parcoblatta species to me. Maybe P. Pennsylvanica
Allpet Roaches
It does appear to be a Parcoblatta female. That is an outdoor genus which doesn't survive in homes for long so there's nothing to worry about.
