Herpetologyfrk
Ive collected a couple, does anyone know what they eat? I read somewhere that they eat dead or dying insects. I'm not sure how true it is though. I took a decent picture of them that captured the copper head and pronotum. Also the metallic blue abdomen? Not sure what that area on beetles are called. I lost my camera cord, but as soon as I find it I will be posting some pictures of them. I'd love to get a culture of these going.
Allpet Roaches
I'm sure they'll eat small crickets as well as feed on sugary fluids from fruit like banana slices. Ground beetles are long-lived, easy captives but breeding is notoriously difficult.
Herpetologyfrk
Thanks Orin I'm going back to the spot I found them today, hopefully I can find a couple more. Also what's up with me liking everything that is hard and near impossible to breed! I must be cursed x)
