bronxzoofrank
What do you think? I’ve kept several hundred species in zoos and at home, but still often find it hard to make a clear recommendation…your thoughts appreciated. RomanBuck
I say tortoise because you dont have to change as much water as you do with turtles, and personally I think tortoises are easier and more fun. BUT turtles are fun to feed!

Keith
Neither, both require high care and live very long most people abandon them or neglect them.
Dubia Dynasty
I agree with keith, My poor little baby sucalt. Fell victim to fire ants. Made a D-I-Y- Tort. pen and i turned my back for 5 mins, he was beyond saving. Turtles and torts require a expert keeper with alot of time and alot of money. Neither should be suggested for a beginner.
