Cariblatta lutea
Bought them from roachcrossing.com as small nymphs. Now I'm seeing adults in the enclosure
Hisserdude
Awesome! I really like these guys, they look so cute! Can they breed at room temps?
happy1892
Wow! I did not know they were that small!
Allpet Roaches
That female may not be an adult. Females are a lot bigger than the males but maybe the size difference only seems more extreme in three dimensions.
Cariblatta lutea
Awesome! I really like these guys, they look so cute! Can they breed at room temps? I think they can though we need Kyle to confirm this since i've never bred them before.
Cariblatta lutea
Wow! I did not know they were that small! Ya. I didn't expect them to be this small as well. Wish they were about the size of Parcoblatta lata. lol

Hisserdude
I think they can though we need Kyle to confirm this since i've never bred them before. Ok thanks! Do they have special care needs, or are they just like any old roach?
Cariblatta lutea
Ok thanks! Do they have special care needs, or are they just like any old roach? Mine have been like typical roaches, accepting fruits and fish flakes without hesitation
Hisserdude
Awesome! Thanks for the information! Hope yours breed well!
pannaking22
I have a few adults now too, so hopefully mine breed as well. Did Kyle confirm breeding temps? And how much larger are the females, Orin? I have one female that's about the same size as Cariblatta's, but I haven't noticed any breeding, so one more molt may be necessary. On his new website, the "temperature requirements" for this species is listed as 75-80 F.
pannaking22
Cool, I'll bump up the temp on mine then and see what happens.
