Cariblatta lutea
Wow, they look quite different from the ones I have that I acquired from So. CA! Hope u get a colony established and make them available in the hobby Ugh....I'm literally drooling over these guys right now. LOL
Salmonsaladsandwich
Does anyone know if parcoblatta occasionally prey on other insects, like orangeheads and periplaneta do? All I have right now are some shriveled ooths that probably won't hatch, so I can't test it at the moment.

Hisserdude
I hope I can breed them successfully too! I do not belive anyone has tried keeping stock from Idaho, so for all we know this strain could be much easier to keep than the others! Or at least that's what I'm hoping for, lol! Hisserdude
My subadult male molted today!!! I really hope I can breed it with my adult female and get some fertile ooths before she dies!
Cariblatta lutea
Congratulation! From the info I've gathered, orange forms are apparently easier to breed than darker ones
Hisserdude
Cool, I did not know that! I put my him in with my female, I haven't seen them mating yet, they probably will at night time though.

Nacho Abarca
Congrats man! Hopefully he's all filled with energy and she's still able to fall in love ( ) so you'll find tons of ooths before she dies.

Hisserdude
Just looked in the container today and found this! Looks like I'll be having some P.americana nymphs soon! P.S: One of the 3 wild caught nymphs matured into an adult female, which is the one pictured above. My old female has yet to produce any ooths. Hisserdude
Thanks! At least the nymphs can't climb glass, right? How long do Parcoblatta ooths usually take to hatch?

Hisserdude
I've never bred any other Parcoblatta sp, so I wouldn'tt know. The males are 20 mm long, and the females are like 16.

apf
It's handled? Some time ago I thought I had found a Periplaneta Americana nymph, but seeing your pics believe is a "Lucihormetica verrucosa" haha
