Hornet
today i found 3 of these, if it was only one i would have left it but 3 gives me a good chance of both sexes and possibly some breeding. Found on sandy soil in cracks in wood. What should i keep them on, what to feed? Any idea on genus or species? Found in south east qld, australia. Matt K
Could you put one in a clear container and get a closer pic of the top and bottom ???
Allpet Roaches
It's hard to make out any characteristics. Also, even if the species information is available it may not be identifiable if it's a nymph.

Also, even if the species information is available it may not be identifiable if it's a nymph. Dear orin, proably it is an adult female! proably a nymph. There are several differents forms into the Epilamprinae, which makes an indentifying without a specimen not possible. ingo

Allpet Roaches
Can you take a closer photograph? There's a good chance you have an agriculture office in your area that would be able to identify local Australian roaches.
