ArtBug
It would almost be a shame to eat it (there's some kind of a gruesome pun in here somewhere. . .!)

Keith
Impressive. Wondering if there is wire in the antenna? It looks like black licorice sticks which are edible.
pierre72
How do you make it or where do you get it?
pierre72
Just noticed also the writing in the corner. It's a birthday cake? Razias, you ARE amazing!! That's something I'd do except my colonies are too many to tell when they're born. Anyway, it's sweet!!
RaZias
Just noticed also the writing in the corner. It's a birthday cake? Razias, you ARE amazing!! That's something I'd do except my colonies are too many to tell when they're born. Anyway, it's sweet!! It´s a pic that I have found on internet. In the site it says: "This was a request from a 10yr old boy having a fear factor party. It was also filled on top of the cake with vanilla mousse that I colored green so when it was cut open green stuff oozed out. For a party that was mostly boys, they loved it." http://cakecentral.c...-they-loved-it/ There are other Roach cakes: http://nethlegolas.d...-Cake-328064130 http://mudpiesanddai...fair-roach.html http://cakecentral.c...-cockroach-cake

pierre72
Oh, until now I thought the first one was a real roach that someone was feeding chocolate cake to!! That one DOES look life like. Most of the others I can tell are cake. Those last 2 above (the dark red) are beautiful. Feeding cake to a roach would kind of be something. It is well-known that they like sweets, but I never heard of any breeders doing that.
