Peter Clausen 38
I usually make the mistake of telling people these are roaches before I show them. They get critical and reluctant about holding them. I think next time I'll show them the bug and let them guess beetle and hold it before I tell them it is actually a cockroach. Actually, these are nicer to hold than beetles because they don't hold on quite as tight! Great photos!
RedDead 0
These are gorgeous I just love them, but I have a question. And point me in the opposite direction if its already been asked. Are the Domino roaches the same as the Therea Grandjeani shown here http://www.doubleds.org/files/grandgeni.jpg I've heard the Terea Grandjeani called dominos but I was unsure. Matt K 3
No, the 'domino' roaches are Therea petiveriana with clear white spots. The Therea grandjeani are sometimes referred to as the 'question mark' roach, as the white pattern typically represents a question mark shape instead of dots.

Thank you very much, I wanted to make sure cause I'm looking for the question marks. And I've had people tell me that the others were the same. Again thanx
BugmanPrice 1
What they may have been referring to is the "question mark" 'roachs uncertain taxonomic placement...?
